Why I Started
GO TIME HEALTH

In 2021, I realized I had
let myself go.
I had always thought of myself as an active person, but somewhere in the middle of life, marriage, work, and raising children, I had lost momentum. I was not training consistently. I was not moving the way I used to. I did not have many hobbies outside of cooking and day-to-day responsibilities. My energy was slipping, my anxiety was higher, and my body felt like a neglected vehicle.
I remember sitting by a pool with my wife and telling her I was thinking about hiring a personal trainer. It felt like a big investment at the time, but I knew I needed to make a change.
So I started training four days per week.
That decision changed my life.
Over time, I became stronger, more disciplined, more confident, and more focused. About a year and a half into training, I started testosterone replacement therapy after recognizing that my energy, recovery, and motivation were still not where I wanted them to be.
The combination of training, nutrition, lifestyle changes, testosterone optimization, and better daily habits transformed the trajectory of my life.
My energy improved. My physique changed. My motivation came back. My mental clarity improved. My confidence grew. I felt stronger, sharper, and more alive. At 42, I can honestly say I feel better than I ever have.
I have always been naturally thin, so building muscle, gaining healthy weight, and becoming stronger was a major personal accomplishment for me. I was no longer just trying to “get by.” I was actively building the version of myself I wanted to become.
But the biggest lesson was this: When you work on yourself, it affects everyone around you.
My children noticed. My wife noticed. My relationships changed. My outlook changed. The way I carried myself changed. The way I approached life changed.
